Hi there,

We have W2000 Server and I want to know if the Internet Authentication Service (IAS) that comes as an add-on component within Networking Services, can be used to control access to the internet according to usernames set up within the Active Directory. Can anyone help me with this query and are there any essential pieces of advice anyone can give me reference it's installation?

Thanks

Paul

You can configure IAS as a RADIUS server , pretty easy btw ... This service can read usernames and permissons from the AD...
read the help file and checklists (somethimes there really is valuable info in there :) )
