Hi,

Have some guys who have a pretty much flat network(192.168.0.1/24) with a standardard Cisco 5505 natting firewall. Users can bring their own laptops and plug directly into the network or use a few machines scattered around, as well as mobile devices with a couple of Wirelesss access points on the same lan.

I need to find a solution that filters the web traffic and also logs internet access, however with no form of network authentication(no username login to the local network etc just local PC or iphone(wireless) accounts, I guess we can only log again IP address, however these will change as users come and go within the DHCP scope.

Ive looked at the Cisco SA500 appliances as well as a Bloxx solution, however I need an appliance system, that before it allows users access to the internet, it will ask for some kind of login/authentication setup before hand, then that session can be monitored(logged). Also need the traffic to be firewalled and filtered against a known database of bad sites and or course sites with certain categories(p0rn etc).

Would appreciate any advice from anyone in the know.

Cheers, Lee.
