International Job Opportunities

I have been thinking about trying to see about job opportunities overseas, and was wondering if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions. I am leaning more towards Russia, since I already speak the language a little. I have been doing IT for almost 10 years all on the administration side (Desktop, Server, and Network).

Just curious if anyone can point me in the right direction.

I think the difficult part would be getting the work permit(s) needed.

In a lot of countries, this requires a company to sponsor you, and declare that you wouldn't be taking a job that a citizen should properly have.

In some places, you cannot even qualify unless you have a degree, corporate sponsor, and the Department of Labor for that country deems your skills as "in need".
