I have a option 11c that was recently upgraded to a cs1000m 5.50j. Prior to the upgrade we were able to dial internationally with no problems but now we cannot. Has anyone seen this happen before and possibly found a fix?
Vendor may have re-inputted BARS and overlooked SPNs or changed the FRLs on the RLI's. Go to LD90, look for SPNs of 0, 00 and 011. There is a BARS printing guide and more here:
One of my field techs posted this question and I'm working on it with him today. We can dial the route ACOD and make the international call fine. It is when we use BARS that the call fails. When we setup a DMI call type of INTL, the DCH messaging shows both Caller and Calling number as INTL and we get a fast busy. When we set it to NPA, it shows both Caller and Calling number as NATL and it only looks at the 1st 7 digits and sends the call to the 7 digit local number here in town.
When the call succeeds using the route ACOD, it shows the Caller as NATL and the Calling Number as INTL. How can we program the BARS to duplicate that? I've tried every DMI combination I can think of and we can't get it to go.
