You need to send more spam of EXCCP:CAT=ALL; to see common categories, your ext is in CAT 7 right now, which we expect from your question does not allow 900 dialling? You need a CAT where value 03 or 04 is TRAF 3&4 and 4&5 to allow to dial 900. The put the extension in the CAT by EXCAC:DIR=5158,CAT=your new cat;

You see how it works?

1.Set the number to be allowed to be dialled in NADAP with value(s) on right column.
2.Set the Value of TRAF 3&4/5&6 for day & night to a value in NADAP in right column in the common CAT
3.Put the extension in the CAT

best parnum

also you can see that the difference between using 03 and 04 in the TRAF for the CAT (in NADAP) is because for example 03 does not allow 909 acess, but 04 does, so decide what you want for the user, should they dial 909 as well as 900? if yes, select Common Category for your extension with TRAF 3/4/5/6 = 0404, if no 909, then TRAF 3/4/5/6= 0303.

best parnum

User shouldn't need to dial 909, but 900 is a requirement so if I understand your response above, CAT 7 should be sufficient as it shows TRAF 0303 ?

Hi

Yes CAT 7 is good for 24 hr 900 dialling and no 909.

best parnum

otherwise, change the extension category to CAT 3, if 5158 does not want dial as mentioned earlier

EXCAC:DIR=5158,CAT=3;

sorry, the second comment will not work.

[no edit option :( ]

none of those last 2 works(?) that info is wrong.

CAT 7 is good for 900 as the TRAF is 0303 and 900 in NACDS is set to include CDCAT 3 already, you don't need to do anything in fact as dgsmith80 says in this case.

best parnum

So if you have a problem not dialling 900, it is not the CAT here that is the problem, try changing the cat by

EXCAC:DIR=5158,TRAF=01151500;

This opens up the extension and bypass the NACDS table for open dialling, does this work ok? you have permission to dial any number with TRAF 15.
