Hi,
I have two parts. I am going to be setting up 6 child secondary sites off my central site. Some of these sites will have clients with localized language OS's and language packs. Since they are secondary sites, I can only assign my advanced clients to the central parent. As far as I understand, once I install the ICP, it will then go and update all previously installed clients. I don't want this as it will generate a ton of network traffic and possible corrupt some clients on the central site. I want to install the ICP only to my secondary site, which I know can be done.
Now, I want to push the client out to those machines. My question is, where do they pull the client from? The primary central or the child secondary? If the AD sites are part of the secondary boundaries and not the parent, I am assuming they will pull from the secondary and use the client install configuration I define in the secondary site. Is this correct? Am I missing something? Any suggestions?
Hope this was clear.
