Wondered if anyone can help me?

We have a PIX 515 with all our websites behind it (inside), once it went into place we couldn't gain access to them from the inside. Added routes and also the ip addresses to the host file. All now works but im not sure if this is the best way to do it.

Also I now can't type in the IP address of the sites in my browser and go there, does anyone know of any reason why??

I have a solution for you. Set up and configure an internal DNS server, with the real IP addresses for your internal sites. Enter the DNS server IP address as the optional information for your DHCP server, and you're set (you can also hard code your clients to use this server as their default DNS server.).
