Hey all.

We have an IP phone that we can't intercom to. (Dial Direct)

We can intercom (dial direct) to all the other phones fine.

It does have an analog cordless phone internally twinning to it.

Any way around this?

Daniel

Is the Twinning working ? Is that analog extension it's Twinned to ringing ?

Do you have call appearances programmed? Is the IP phone the primary?

Twinning working fine. Both ring. It's a cordless analog phone hooked up to a SIP grand stream ATA not a combo card on IPO.

IP phone is primary. The SIP ata is the twinning extension.

The IP phone has 3 call appearances on the buttons page.

When twinned only the phone it's twinned with can call the slave handset, others return busy. That's the whole point, 2 phones that show/act as the same number...:)

Amriddle01 That's not the problem though.

I can't intercom (dial direct) the primary from other phones.

If I hit (dial direct) button and the IP phone it just rings it instead of paging it.

If I un twin the SIP ATA from that ip phone I can (dial direct) it just fine.

Probably because the twinned device is not capable of being paged, you can test by briefly twinning another IP/dig phone and try paging/dial direct again, that will prove if it's the feature broken or just incompatibility :)
