hdisk0 Available 11-08-00-2,0 16 Bit LVD SCSI Disk Drive
hdisk1 Available 11-08-00-4,0 16 Bit LVD SCSI Disk Drive
hdisk2 Available 3A-08-00-0,0 Other SCSI Disk Drive

I think it's a stupid question but can somebody tell me if the disk hdisk0 is internal or external disk?
What does LVD mean???

LeDam,

You will have to map your location code to a parent adapter i.e.

lsdev -Cc adapter

Look for 11-08 - this is the adapter the disk is hung off.
I suspect that this will be external, you can check that by mapping the location code to the the card on the back of you server (refer to you system documentation for a diagram of the I/O planar).

LVD - stands for low voltage differential by the way.

Normally your [tt]hdisk0[/tt] is internall and you can see it because the location code: 11-08-[red]00[/red]-2,0. Normally [tt]00[/tt] is the internall connector on the SCSI card, [tt]01[/tt] external, and [tt]0S[/tt] integrated SCSI on System Planar.
I hope it works...
