We have a Small Business Server that runs Exchange for our company. We've had it for about 6 months, and it works fine except that our Linux server can't send mail to it. Whenever it tries, the root user gets an email back saying the SBS box refused the connection. I wasn't sure whether to post this in the Exchange forum or linux forum, so i started here.
The details in the returned email are below. The linux server is named vci.ourdomain.com (ourdomain substituted, obviously):
Reporting-MTA: dns; vci.ourdomain.com
Arrival-Date: Mon, 24 Jul 2006 20:45:34 -0400
Final-Recipient: RFC822; user@ourdomain.com
Action: delayed
Status: 4.4.1
Remote-MTA: DNS; ourdomain.com
Last-Attempt-Date: Tue, 25 Jul 2006 01:15:57 -0400
Will-Retry-Until: Sat, 29 Jul 2006 20:45:34 -0400
Any suggestions on how to allow the linux server to send mail to users on our domain? It can send email to everyone else, except for users on our domain. Thanks!
