Internal Links within email broken

Hi,

I've been programming an html email newsletter for a client. He's had reports that in Lotus Notes, the internal links that are supposed to jump around within the email instead pop open a web browser that points to

(three slashes)

There have been no reports of this from other mail clients. Has anyone heard of this before, or have a workaround?
