Internal IP Web resolution

I host my own web site and for some reason can not get to it through the network. It works great if I try over the internet.

What could be wrong? Do I need to add the

http://www.domain.com

name to the internal DNS? If so then how do I do that?

You are correct. You will need a DNS entry on your internal DNS using the internal (private) IP of the server you are trying to reach.
