I am installing a Partner ACS in a large complex for their garage telephones. The company has a three level internal parking garage with sixteen single line telephones throughout each level.
I am planning on installing a Partner 18D telephone (ext 10) at the lobby desk with a live attendant. The plan is if their is an incident a person in the garage can pick up the handset and ring to the attendant at the front lobby desk.
I am planning on using every available ext port for internal hotlines.
My question is Procedure #603 says not to assign hotlines to ext 10 or 11 or the first two extensions of any 206 or 308 because of power failure retrictions. To maximize all ports I was going to include with the either 308 or 509 processor, two 012 modules and two 308 modules.
My question is, do the rules change with the 012 module?
