Internal forwarding issues - Merlin Magix

At a remote site, I have an extension that I'd like to forward to another internal extension. For some reason, the forwarding isn't working properly. It continues to ring at the forwarded extension, no matter how I call into it. I have printed an extension info, and it says it's forwarded but it won't actually forward. Any ideas?
 
As a side note, it will forward to an external number, but not an internal extension.
 
By, "at a remote site", do you mean that two legends are connected through a PRI and you are trying to forward to an internal number at the remote site? Had to ask that because as merlinman had said....your circumstance is odd.

My mistake - I meant "at a customer site." It is a stand-alone Magix installation, w/ no networking.
