Hello;

Running IPO 8.1 500 v2
We have 4 sites on a SCN

I have 3rd party forwarding setup through the provider. I figured out everything, but I am stuck on one thing.

We use 5 digit dialing for internal extensions. When I dial ext to ext it works great, or DID to DID no problem there. If I dial internal A to internal B and internal B is forwarded to my cell it comes across as the extension instead of the DID.

To clarify what I've done.
SIP URI:
Local URI *
Contact *
Display name *
PAI None

9N; / Dial / Ns

For forwarding I used a 7 to get out instead of a 9. When forwarding the (separate) ARS is setup as: 1N; / Dial / SSI / LG0

I understand this may not be the best setup but I got it to work this way, so maybe it is?

So what's happening is the internal call comes across see's the number is forwarded and goes out the ARS setup for "7" (forwarding) and displays my extension to whomever it's forwarded to. I need to display the DID instead.

Little drawn out and long explanation. Any help is greatly appreciated.
P.S. I understand I can uncheck internal forwarding, but I want to figure out how to fix this for future reference. Also the SSI settings shows original caller, so I need to find some way around this.

Have you put the DID number in the users SIP tab? When a URI like that...that's usually what I do.
