I currently maintain a Meridian 1 Option 11C PBX system with Meridian Mail. How can I block certain extensions from dialing/accessing a specific or group of extensions? Do I have to create ACD groups? Can it be done by disabling DID(Direct Inward Dialing) for the specific range of DN's?

Any idea's would be greatly appreciated.

You could use pre-translation to send the call to maybe a voice menu telling the caller that numbers not available. Only works on the leading digit so you could only block say all 2xxx extns.

The Option 11s come with the multi tenant package. You can use that and tenant out extensions so they can not dial a certain group of extensions.
