Internal error phone dialer using Outlook

Hi all,

After installing en configuring the TAPI-driver an error appears saying 'internal error with phonedialer....' when I try to change the dialer options in MS Outlook contacts.
When I use the Adress Book to open the same phonedialer options i can select the AVAYA IP station and dial out.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem in Outlook. I'm using WXP machine and outlook 2000.

Have a look in the 'phone and modems options' folder in your control panel and in the 'advanced' tab make sure the 'avaya Tapi2 service provider' is configured ie the correct Pbx ip address has been entered. Also check the user name is correct and if they have a password make sure that is correct.

Are you using rel 3.0 ? have you installed the patch into system32

De AVAYA IP Phone/ TAPI connections works fine when I use the phonedialer via the address book. It uses the exact same dialeroptions.
