INTERNAL ERROR: IMPROVIDER.ROOTPROVIDER....Help

Hello,
I am currently in the process of updating from integration manager to Integration manager 10 and I am having an issue.
Here is what I did:
1. Installed integration manager 10.
2. Copied IM.MDB into the integration manager 10 directory.
3. Tools>Options> changed the path of the database to read for the new database.
4. I got an integration manager error that said the database needed to be converted.
5. Tool> Database > convert database.

Now when I try to open an integration, I get the following error:

'Could not load file or assembly "IMProvider.RootProvider" or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the specified file.'

I am having the same issue and getting nowhere searching for the reason why. Anyone have anymore information on what could be causing this?

Okay I found a way around this issue.

Open properties on each Source and click the apply button, then exit the properties dialog window.
This must be updating something behind the scenes because now you should be able to preview your sources.

Hello - I am having the same issue as you mentioned however what Sources are you talking about right clicking on? I have the IM.MDB file that I would like to upload to GP Dynamics 10. Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
