Internal Error 2755. 3, G:\NetWorker.msi

I am trying to install NetWorker Client 7.2.1 on a windows box. I am getting the following error:

Internal Error 2755. 3, G:\NetWorker.msi

Any ideas?

I assume the error number indicates a Windows problem. In this case use "net helpmsg #" to see more details.

Example:

C:\>net helpmsg 2755

The system cannot find message text for message number 0xac3 in the message file for NETMSG.

I assume that the downloaded version is corrupted.

I found the problem. The problem is the software is on a network drive and when I mapped it, I got this error when I ran the install. This is how I fixed it. I used the Universal Naming Convention (UNC) to connect to the shared drive and run the installation.
