I am running Windows 2000 Server and I want add a DNS record that will point our company website to an internal IP instead of going out to the web. I am not sure how to go about this. I already have DNS up and running for my domain.
So I guess basically I want all requests for to go 10.10.10.x.

Any one have any suggestions?

Thanks

Chris

You want the hosts file. I think its in c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts but I'm not sure for Windows 2000, it'll be something like this.

Basically you just create a new entry in that, you should be able to follow the convention from other lines...
