Internal Compiler Error

i have Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0

whenever i try to run ANY program i get the error:
"fatal error C1001: INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR
(compiler file '.\pdbmgr.cpp', line 113)"

is the fixable?

Did you install Visual Studio Service Pack 5?
 
im not sure i got the cd from my teacher at school
when i installed i did have the option to install other languages such as java i think and a bunch of others(it was a while ago)
so i guess it was some kind of pack
 
ICE comes from a header file screw up usually.

Try changing the order of your includes.

Do you have any other MS compilers installed?

i dont have ne other compilers installed but i tried to do a simple "hello world" program and it came up the same
 
Remove the .ncb file and try again.
 
Where the .dsw and .dsp files are
