Looking at the traffic monitor on my FB the internal clients are continually trying to send to private IP address ie, 172.16.0.3 Why would they be doing this, and is there any way to stop them?

Thanks

I think "why" is the important question here. Does this message originate from a particular PC or several PC's? Have you checked those PC's to verify the correct network settings as well as try to attempt a connection to that IP? I take it this is not a valid subnet for you?

there seems to be a particular range of IP's (we use the 10.0.0.0 range) The chances are these machines were set up by our developers, and they're a law unto themselves!!! Asof yet I haven't checked the settings, but I was wondering if there was any particular area I should be looking at?

thanks

I would start with the suspect machines and check all the network settings and route tables.

If they are all clear, then you are going to need to figure out what app is trying to reach that IP.
