Currently our help desk phones are setup to display the names but not numbers. The problem is that when they call someone outside teh PBX the CLID doesn't display and users either block it or don't pick up.

Is there a way to have a line on the phone that does allow CLID for outside calls while the personal lines stay blocked?

Thansk in advance!

Jeff

cls cnda dnda...also you need to have nd1, nd2 or something in the rcap of the pri.....but internal should never bee a problem with the cls settings

Check for CLS DDGD CLBD

If you have both of those, internal callers wont see the DN, but external callers will get CLID.

I'm guessing you have CLBA where the external CLID is blocked. Just toggle that back to CLBD

Gene,

Thanks you got me on the right track. Dial *82 before dialing out and it worked great.

It always puzzled me that DDGD blocks CLID at my PBX no matter CLBD or CLBA.
