I want to find out if it is possible for analogue ext to have cli if it uses a cli analogue instrument, thus if one ext phones to another , can it show the ext number/name? Thank you for all the great info.

Yes, you can have analogue CLI.
You need the CLCOBE (Cli-LCOB -boards) for analogue trunk and CSLIBE (Cli-SLIB - boards)for internal extensions.
These boards work with ipLDK-20/24/50/100/300/600.
The phoes can show the number of the person calling.

No, you need this hardware instead:
CSLIB12E - 12ports - single-line analog ports with Caller ID function.
CLCOB4/8 -4/8 ports Loop Start CO Interface with Caller ID function. (or use ISDN lines).
The hardware must be swapped, and some programming must be done.

Yes, the board shows CSLIB12E. In PGM111 to 113 all CLI Settings need to be set.
