ccr answers call, goes to greetings(open for Business),you dial 1 for lets say 22. The line button rings at that dn22.
Is there any way you can have the intercom of that dn ring instead of the line?

have a dn on an ATA. programed into a grp 4 under sys programming. admin program I put dial 4 as grp 4,out of prog doesn't work, goback in to admin and dial 4 shows none
will an ATA work with internal CCR or is there something in programming I,m missng?

if you have a line button, then that's what will ring...

ATA or a phone, doesnt matter to the CCR ...doublecheck the programming settings

If lines ring only, then they can,t callout,or can they by dialng 9 for a line pool?

Ringing lines and dialing out are two completely separate things. Is this your own system you are trying to program?

I'm installing(some experience), but rather new. Customer purchased a refurb and it turned out it had a bad software card to start with. I installed the ccr per the documentation and help from tek-tips.After I installed it and ccr was working if someone calls in,gets the recording and dials, lets say the digit one for sales(dn 22). The line key rings at stn 22. They want the intercom to ring at stn 22.I was trying to find out if this could be done. Dmacnumberfour said to make the lines ring only. In that case they would have no appearances of lines on thier sets.I could program an intercom key to grab a line in PoolA for out going. How ever they only want to use ccr (open for bus or off) which means they would be able to dial out( on or off) but recieve no incoming calls when ccr off.

Sounds like you are trying to have both worlds at the same time. The internal AA on the CICS is very limited.

looks like am trying to make a cadillac out of a volkswagon. So with my simple sytem ccr will transfer
the call to the recording, a digit will be dialed and it will present itself at the line key of the one and only dn in the group( each group has one dn) as a transferred call(with the shorter double ring).

I have to drive quite a distance to do this. The system is in and up and running and was sort of blind sided with the
things ccr could do and what they wanted.Sso if the above is true I have one more question. There are 5 sets, 5dn's each with 3 lines(appear and ring). So if ccr directs a call(say line 1 to a set and the line is ringing on that set as a transferred call, are the line 1's on the other sets ringing?

No they are not. You can pick up the call using Feature pickup codes (directed or group)
