Internal Call to Hut Group not following 1st Alternative

Mitel 3300Mxe - MCD 4 SP1.

We have hunt group setup that has a first alternative for Voicemail. There are few users that control their membership via group presence.

If an external caller hits the hung group via DDI and users are out of group or are busy, it follows the 1st Alternative to voicemail.

If an external call comes to reception and they try to forward it to this hunt group and they are out of group or busy, the reception get BUSY tone.

I've checked that the 1st and 2nd alternatives are set to "This" and I can't work out what going on.

I reset the COS on the hunt group to a none at all and this has no effect. I want to be able to get reception to send the calls to group and if busy they will be sent to voicemail. Even better would be if we could delay the time to be sent to voicemail, like with ring groups and ACD you can queue to group even if busy and then pass onto voicemail
 
what r u using as a s/b?
5550 console, wont' follow rerouting. when sb gets busy she can put it through to voicemail...
 
For grins, try this.
When the receptionist tries to xfer to the hunt group and gets a busy, release the call anyway. I suspect the call will camp on and then follow the call forward no answer timer.

Call Camps on for 1st alt timer duration
Call proceeds to VM

sorry what was I smoking. extension can't transfer console or put it on hold....
 
Seriously! Put it through anyway, won't the caller get busy tone too. The reception phones are 5312's, not console. I don't like the idea of the user getting busy tone.
