I recently installed IP Office V2 9.0.200.860

The system replaced a aging NEC.

Everything working well with the exception of

Old system - when user A was on phone and user B called user A User B receives busy tone.

New System- Same scenario user B hears ringing and user a 2nd appearance key flashes. This is causing client issue as they don't know the other user is on a call.
They do not use VM

Is there a way to replicate the old way of getting busy tone?

Kholliday"Likely the best way to do what you want is to create a primary hunt group with that individual in it and do NOT enable call waiting. Then place your Operator hunt group as an overflow to this original group."

There's tricky ways through VMPRo but hey...

How about reducing to 2 Call appearance buttons and reserve the last CA?

Kind regards

Couldn't you just put a user button on the phone that lights up when it's in use?

Thanks guys.

Reducing from 3 to 2 Call Appearance keys and reserving the 2nd CA will do the trick for this client.
Tried it on our test system yesterday and works. Thanks

1A2guru ,that would be ideal if they had enough buttons

You're welcome [smile]

Kind regards

Gunnar
