I made the internal ATA call forward to another extension. When you call the ATA DN, it forwards after two rings to the selected extension (225), however it will not go into 225's mailbox. since there is no voicemail assigned to the ATA, when you call through the auto-attendant, it forwards properly and then the vmail kicks in and says "the person at the extension you dialed is not available" then it plays the CCR menu.

how can I have it forward from the ATA to 225 and then to 225's voicemail?

Is this a redirect issue?

The Enable Redirect DN check box is not selected by default. If redirect DN is enabled, CallPilot uses the original dialed number when it receives a redirected call. A call is redirected if a set that is call forwarded on busy to another location does not answer the call. The call returns to the original site for call answering. Select this check box only on the advice of support personnel.

Hope this helps...

How about just letting both the ATA set and 225 ring together instead of forwarding after two rings. You can put an Answer DN of the ATA on 225, but not the other way around.

answer DN won't work because there is no voicemail assigned to the ATA, I want the call to go from the ATA to the DN 225 and then to the voicemail for 225.

Redirect? well the ATA does not have a voicemail box, so I don't think it's anything in the callpilot.
