internal and external ringtone

Hello,
IP500 4.2(14) with ipdect, 3711 handsets.
External line ringing on group with all handsets.
One handset takes the call and transfer the call to another handset. In both cases the handsets give an external ringing signal. My customer isn't happy. He want to hear different ringing signals. Can I make him happy again??

In short. no.

Avaya decided to change the ring tone a consultation call (the bit where the first handset makes an internal call to the recipient of the transfer) to be the appropriate type of ring for the orginal call. They did this in response to a feature request, although everyone asks why because it is nonsensical.

That is what i think too !
If you select us locale then a external transfered call ring external and if a european locale then ring internal
I think it is not that hard to program

they are not that big if you think about how big the country is and how few people are actually living there.

The only PBX I can come up who rings external on an internal call is the IPOffice, correct me if i'm wrong but the ACM can do it.
