Intermittent System State Problem

Hi,

All remote backups (inc system state) have been working flawlessly.....until now. I came in this morning, and my backup had failed with the following error:

Unable to open the item Registry\software - skipped.
An error occurred retrieving System State files.

The System State file could not be backed up.

Any ideas?

Several things you can try.

1. Reinstall the Remote Agents.
2. If running BUE 8.6, make sure its bld 3878 as well as the remote agents (beremote)
3. Bypass it from looking for dc for system state backup (Veritas TechNote ID:243898)
4. Force BUE to pass credential info (Veritas TechNote ID:239739)
