Hello
Wonder if anyone has seen this problem before. I have a logon script which maps printers and network drives and it is setup within group policy for all the users of a particular organizational unit in Active Directory Windows 2000.
Problem is it is not working 100% of the time often users will logon and go to Printers and the mapped printers are not there, if they log off and back on immediately the printers 99% of the time have successfully mapped at the second attempt. I have put the two lines of code that map the printers at the start of the logon script:
wshNetwork.AddWindowsPrinterConnection "\\F121-30040884\Pay-For-Print1"
wshNetwork.AddWindowsPrinterConnection "\\F121-30040884\Pay-For-Print2"
and when they dont map, the network drives still successfully map even though the code is executed after the lines that fail.

Appreciate any troubleshooting tips

Try slowing the script down, give the printers time to get mapped. Between each printer put a sleep for 300ms in there.

wscript.sleep 300
