Intermittent Pings

Hi, We've just setup a new firewall andwe've added a web server behind a DMZ. Our problem is:

When we ping the web server it intermittently pings from both our internal network and the internet.

We are not using NAT or Address tramsforms we only have a redirect.

Can anybody help??

seems like a performance problem or a routing problem. If you are sure your hardware is sufficient for running the raptor (check task manager if it runs on windows and sar if it runs on unix) then its probably a routing problem. check the routing tables of both the webserver and the firewall.
