I have a client that has an older 624 System and we are having some issues that seem to be getting worse.
Issue 1 - The phones will ring through out the house and one will randomly pick up the line off hook. This phone will stay off hook until someone phisically goes around to find the "offender" and pick the handset up and put it back on hook. Like I said this is random phones and we have it narrowed to six sets.
Issue 2 - During a call, the phone will just hang up on the conversation - once again random phones. i.e. you will be speaking in a conversation then click, then dial tone.
The client is asking me to replace the system as I have tried to revire it at the block and the jack side on the offending phones to no aval. If I do replace it, I will obviously go to the 824 system. With the 824 system in mind, will the older KX-T7020/7030 phones be compatable with the system? I just want to throw these questions out there, just in case I may be missing something and dont want to replace a funtional system and have this happen again with the new switch.
TIA
