After my recent upgrade to (Large) VM which is working fine I have developed a new problem or maybe the system was never setup properly in the beginning. I have two extensions 10 and 11 that act as operators they answer all calls except when AA answers after 6 rings (day) and 1 ring (night)sometimes an incoming call only rings on ext 11 and ext 10 cannot pick it up even when ext 10 is not busy.I'm not sure what feature handles this. Maybe I should just re-configure both extensions entirely! but how should they best be setup for this ap?

I had a similar problem on a P18D set that was programmed to ring and the only thing that seemed to fix it was to power cycle or reboot the system. In my case I was doing changes remotely, so when I enabled the upload in the system it does a reset of the CPU and it fixed the problem.

thanks for the reply, I think I will remove both of these extensions and re-program them back in! Is there a recommended way to configure 2 extensions as operators?

Think I found the problem, found ext 10 and 11 in dist group 7 and distibution group 1, as well as night cover group. got rid of group 1, and incoming calls appear normal now. Still would like to know the recommended setup for two ext used by operators.
