Intermittent Distributed Transaction Error

I have seen several people ask about Distributed Transaction Error, but have not seen a response that has helped me. My problem only seems to occur once in a while when using Sql Server 7.0 databases. I never see it when using Oracle 8 databases running in a UNIX environment. I am using ASP/ADO from IIS 4.0 to update the database running on a seperate NT 4.0 SP5 machine. I have forced the machines to communicate with TCP/IP rather than named pipes per Microsoft's knowledgebase. Anyone have any ideas what is going on?
