Got the following problem that i am hoping i can be given some enlightenment.
Ok i will number the issues,
1) I have 4 users on an OU that have trouble with access to the Global DFS share.
2) No-One else experiences this issue.
3) Could use the server name...but their are published documents that are using the DFS root share.
4) Their is no set time or reason why this can happen.
5) Out of the 4 users...their has been times when 1 or 2 can access the share but the others cannot.
6) They are on the same subnet share the same DNS and DHCP source.
This is something that is leaving me with a headache. I cannot figure out why this is the case.
I have seen reference to how the client PKT is accessing the share, how it will access the local server then the root if the data cannot be accessed an error is returned.
This is something i hope i can be given some input as my head is hurting
