Intermittent Call Quality Issue

Having an issue with calls coming in and the people sounding like they are underwater, or there is a lot of static on lines. Also, every now and again, the call will flat out drop. This system has a PRI and the carrier claims it's not them. Besides putting in the latest patches, any ideas? I still say carrier.
 
Check the clocking in the BCM. Should be set to Primary External.

The other thing that will sometimes help (beats the heck outta me why) but try changing your sequencing from Ascending to Descending (or vice versa), then change them back.

If you still have trouble, check the cabling from your interface box, If the problem is still there, you can always swap out the module on spec.
