Hello Again
I have a linksys Wap with two machines connected via cat 5 and my WINXP sp2 laptop that connects via wireless.
THe other two machines run fine via the cat 5 and my laptop runs great if I connect via the cat5.
However when I am connecting via the wirelss card 11 mbps I seldom get near the 11mpbs unless I am sitting on top of the WAP.
I downloaded net stumbler to see if there are other wirless networks in my apartment bulding and there are three others that I can see.
Could these be causing the proformance problems I am having and If so what can i do to improve the way my network is working. I have changed the channel which I use to transmit on (from 6 to 11) what else can i do with my network to make it run better .My wap and card are 802.11b

Thanks
