Hi all,

I am trying to connect a ELU 22 analogue circuit on an MD110 to an Exchange Line on a Meridian Option 11 PABX.
The trunk on the meridian is configured to have an answer point on a digital feature phone softkey, in addition the dialtone from the MD110 can be selected by pressing the same softkey.
When the softkey is pressed the user is presented with the dialtone from the MD110, so there are no issues there.
Incoming calls are a different matter, only 10% of the incoming calls result in the softkey indicating an call. At present there is a normal analogue telephone in parallel with the 2 wire ELU 22 circuit that the user can answer the incoming calls with. When the ELU 22 extension number is dialled, on every occasion the analogue phone rings.
I have only been successful in getting the softkey to indicate an incoming when I carried out a rapid sequence of test calls from another MD110 extension. This leads me to believe that the ringing signal from the MD110 is not being interpreted correctly by the Meridian.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar??
Thanks in advance.
