Interfacing Bogen TAMB with Partner system

We've got a Bogen MCP35A intercom system, and with our system install, we're looking to interface the intercom system with the phone system so that announcements can be made via the phone sets. We have to get the telephone access module from Bogen as well. It operates in two different modes - trunk port mode (which requires a separate AC adapter) and station port mode. Does this mean that I either use a CO port or a station port to connect the Partner to the Bogen? I do have Line 5 available on the ACS, as well as two station ports. Would there be an advantage using one over the other?

Thanks for the help!

Talking R7 and R8: if programmed the line can act as a paging port and you just connect it to T/R input on the Bogen amp and then you don't need the TAMB
R6 and lower have a dedicated paging port no programming required.

Thanks, Westi, for your response. I saw a T/R connector on the back of our amp - it's that simple, eh? So, the dumb question that I have to ask: why does Bogen say that we need this TAMB device if we can just use the amp as-is?

When the connection is made, would we simply push that trunk line on the phone set and use it for paging?

Many thanks!

because not every system has a 600 Ohm paging output, mostly they use line or extension ports.
The overhead paging on Partner is intercom 70 or if you want simultaneous paging with overhead and the paging group 1 then *70. Remember R7 and R8 you need to assign the paging port to a line port first before it gets active.
Partner goes actually one step further and provides a contact vlosure on the second pair of the paging port if you need to mute some music when paging or for many other functions.

Remember that this is only on CO5 of R7/R8 processors...
