Folks,

How do I place an interface in LINUX under dhcp control? Is it similar to Solaris?
touch /etc/dhcp/dhcp.interface, ifconfig <interface> dhcp.

Also, what are the network configuration files e.g, for Solaris they are /etc/netmasks, /etc/inet/hosts, /etc/hostname.interface.

Any other useful network configuration information would be appreciated.

Thanks,

StickyBit.
