Interface to RT unit

Customer has 3 agents taking phone calls, they also make calls on an rt system , 3 rt handsets, which are then connected to a trigger base ( Thats what they call it? )which detects an rt call going out this in turn is connected to a recording device which records all conversations. pabx is not an IPO , putting that in end of month and customer wants IPO to do call recording. Anyone connected any devices in a similiar fashion and if so how did you do it?

forced recording on an IPO cannot garantee to record every call, due to the number of available ports.

even with recording it is posible to miss calls

2 agents bothe dial out & are awaiting answere (2 free ports)
1 call comes in & is answered (now only 1 free port)
when agents get answered only 1 will be recorded.

It's not recording the phone calls just the RT calls

the poit is with the VM pro doing the recording it could miss some calls, depending on workload,number of ports etc.
if the recording of these cals is vital then I would not recommend the VM pro be trusted to do the job.

After further investigation.
rt unit connected to device with 600 ohm output to the recording pc with large 50 pin connector takes ext/trunk into it. rt unit only has 1 pair connected to it.Any one else got anything to offer, of cours I will be in contact with the local supplier, Motorola for the record.
