We have Micros 4.9 running under Windows Xp SP3, and an Interface in [Devices-Interfaces]. The IP and the interface port are correct. This interface communicates with an external software (VBasic), the PMS / SIM license is installed and working well. This interface is installed in several locations (the same ISL and interface files that work in the other locations are installed in the location where the error occurs), but in one of them it does not work, an error appears: INTERFACE NOT ACTIVE when run: getrxmsg. Another info about Interface are: [Outgoing Message Name]: REC_DLS [Network Node]: the name of server on Network Node table [BackUp Interface]: None [Interface Type]: Tcp [Timeout]: 20 [Number ID digits]: 9 [Log Transactions]: checked [SIM Interface]: checked [TCP Server Name]: The Ip of local server (where the interface is installed) [TCP Port Number]: The port 7306 (opened on firewall).
This interface were working ok, but we ran out of electricity for about 3 hours, and when the pc turn on again, the interface stopped working, and from that moment on sends the message: INTERFACE NOT ACTIVE.
I don't know wthat to do anymore.
