Hullo All -
This is going to sound really odd, but here goes. . .
One of my coworkers was trying to familiarize himself with our OpenView server while I was away for training, and when I came back, half of the nodes no longer have anything in the interface/nic level. Half our switches (cisco 2924s)) show the full 24 interfaces, half don't show anything. Most of our servers don't show the interface level at all.
But, if I poll the node, it returns the status correctly. If i select a switch that doesn't show the interfaces, Fault > Interface Status > Overfiew returns all of the statuses of the interfaces.
He doesn't know what he did, and trying the usual combination of reboots and OVTopofixes didn't help. He didn't modify any of the LRF files or Conf files (the LRF file has the connectorL2Ports and nonConnectorL2Ports both set to 'legacy')
I'm not really sure i can pull off doing a restore, so i'd REALLY rather fix the problem then just blow an old database over the current one. . .
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks in advance!
