I have an interface in the middle of a route list that is not getting any calls. All other interfaces appear to be getting a significant number of calls. Why would this be?

I'm new to CM so forgive the naive question.

Thanks!

what do you mean by not getting calls? Outbound?
what type of interface is it?
is it active or could it be down therefore being skipped?
What method do you use to verify it is not getting calls?

PRI interface, no inbound calls.

It is active.

The only method I have to verify it is not getting calls is the reporting tool - NetIQ.

I just found it curious that the PRI would be in the middle of the route group and all other interfaces are getting calls except this one.

Could it be the way it is hunted?

Interfaces are placed in Route Groups so CCM can place outbound calls. If it is not getting Inbound calls, it is a problem at the carrier, they don't have the PRI in THEIR trunk group.

...or possibly you just don't have enough inbound traffic that this particular PRI gets hit with linear hunting. You could always test by busying out the ones in front of it in the hunt sequence and verify that calls are coming in, if you're worried that it may not be working.
