Setup is: 2 Opt81C with ITG ISDN IP Trunks configured and working. Each has Octel 350 which has Octel Analog Networking using typical LD to transfer messages. Pointed Octel to communicate over the ITG for Octel Analog Networking. Turned D Channel MSGO on and saw the call setups, no errors, and finally the release. Messages did not transfer. Using G.729A only on the ITG configuration. Returned the Octel to normal PSTN and the messages did transfer. Appears Octel Analog Networking has handshaking/compression that does not like G.729A? Any advice? Since this is unique to the ITG, thought it better to post here.
