Users can type in the url and get the pop up logon screen in a few seconds. When they access this from Citrix it takes over a minute. They are all on the same network so access shouldn't be an issue.

Any ideas?

Check the tools/internet options/connection/lan settings in the browser on the Citrix server - maybe they are different to the settings on your non-Citrix clients?

Cheers

I tried that. In the settings everything appears the same (all boxes are checked the same on each).

When the access the URL (not from Citrix), you mean they are using IE on their local PC? Are versions of IE the same? If you logon directly at the server (not through Citrix) do you see the same result? Is DNS for the Citrix server pointing to the same DNS as the workstation?

When a user access the site from their own PC, no Citrix involved, the access is fast. If I stand at the Citrix console or try from a remote Citrix console, I get a slwo response. DNS servers are the same for all machines, they all point to the primary DNS server then a secondary DNS server.

As mentioned above, I have seen that with SSL certificates that are not in the default list of IE. It sounds like the PCs have the root certificate from the website installed and the same needs to be done on the Citrix servers.

To verify, go to Tools->Internet Options->Content and click the Certificates button. In either the Intermediate Certificate Authorities or the Trusted Root Certificate Authorities there is probably a certificate listed on the PC that is not on the Citrix server. There are alot of entries so it may be hard to track down. Does your company administer the web site you are attempting to hit? If not, you may want to contact them about getting the root certificate.

Or I could be wrong.

The only three certificates listed are from EFS, it looks like from Administrator of our domain.

Our comapny does not administer the web site. It is an Intranet web site that our company and others use to get information.
The Citrix server is on version 6.0.2800.1100 and the clients (at least one of them) is on 5.00.3502.1000CO .
