Interdev unable to create new project

When i try to set up a new project in interdev i get the following message:
Invalid Class String. Looking for object with ProgID:VIWizard CBlankSiteWizard.

I also get the other problem of not being able debug. Everytime I try, I get the message: devenv.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows.

Can anyone help - I've tried reinstalling several times - doesn't seem to help.

I'm getting to the end of my tether and will be using notepad soon!!!

(Re)Run Visual studio service pack 3 or higher. This worked for me
