Interdev puts bucketloads of blank lines in asp

Hi,

I am working with a fairly heavy form in VID6 (sp5). About 30 fields, 30 labels, 3 recordsets, formmanager, 2 grids.

As I was working, VID seemed to take longer and longer switching from Code to Design mode. At one point it started taking 5-6 minutes to switch. On investigation, I found that the asp file had grown to 8.5 meg. I found that there are hundreds if not thousands of blank lines (full of spaces) just before the &quot;</Object>&quot; for every DTC. Some have a few lines, some have hundreds. Is anyone else aware of this? I have come across it before (I have re-installed since) but it hasn't been such a problem because they were much simpler pages. This one is dragging me down.

Try not switching to design mode! You get used to it. Then give your app to a Dreamweaver expert, who can do a decent design job on the rest of the page. Well, this approach works for me anyway.
