Any suggestions appreciated.

I have recently taken over the updates for a web that was built using Interdev 6.0. I can open the web (on the internet) in Frontpage 2000 no problem. But when I make a copy of the default.htm to default1.htm and display it, it loses the navigation bar. The size of the default1.htm is smaller than the original default.htm.

I even tried copying the html from the default to the default1, but got the same result.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks much! :) Tom Jacobson ...

check to see if there is a sub directory with the script for that nav bar. probably "_ScriptLibrary" and I bet the nav bar is in there

Actually, it's not a script - at the beginning of the statements for the nav bar is the following statement, which makes me think copying in Frontpage is causing a problem:

<!--METADATA TYPE="NavBar" endspan --> <!--webbot bot="vinavbar" tag="table" s-type="first" b-include-home="false" b-include-up="false" s-orientation="vertical" s-rendering="graphics" b-use-table="true" b-use-theme="true" s-script-lang="VBScript" b-use-object-syntax="false" u-page="" s-target="" s-html-fragment=" " s-selected-html-fragment="" startspan -->

It that a possibility?

Thank you. Tom Jacobson ...
